• For smaller projects like résumés, blogs, or online profiles, I usually have enough information from the intake form to begin editing as soon as we finalize a work agreement. If I have any questions, I will include them with my first revision for you to review.

  • For larger or more intricate projects that require closer collaboration, we may schedule a virtual meeting to discuss details before editing begins. During this meeting, we’ll cover:

    • The subject matter and any relevant context

    • Your audience and the experience you want to create for them

    • Your preferred communication methods

    • The type of feedback you’re looking for

    • Milestones, deadlines, and budget

Once we’ve outlined these details, I’ll prepare a work agreement to ensure we’re aligned throughout the process.

  • I focus on three key aspects to enhance your writing, including:

    • Preserving your unique voice, style, and tone

    • Highlighting your writing strengths

    • Supporting areas where your writing can grow

Of course, I will edit for grammar, but my editing philosophy is that meaning drives grammar, not the other way around. I aim to honor your lived experiences while ensuring clarity, flow, and impact for your readers. For more on my editing philosophy, please see my About Me section.
